Watford Concrete Outdoor Fire Pit

The word is overused, but in this circumstance:”AWESOME” is spot-on.We love this fire pit.Hooked up to our house natural gas line, it radiates more than enough heat.With the flames turned down a bit, one can even warm cold and weary feet by resting them on the pit’s concrete edge.We didn’t know what size to buy, but wanted maximum heat.Therefore, we purchased the largest version…….with some trepidation, thinking it might be too big for the location.We needn’t have worried.The size, location, and its appearance in front of the Falmouth 4-piece rattan set are perfect.
We thought to replace the lava rock with reflective glass, but after seeing the fire pit with lava rockin combination with the Falmouth furniture, there was no need for replacement.Plus, the lava rock comes free with the fire pit, and an equivalent amount of reflective glass is unnecessarily pricey, IMO.
The pictures of the fire pit on Wayfair’s website…and others….make the concrete look more ruggedly constructed, with pits and variations in concrete texture…..an attractive feature to our eyes.The item delivered looked much less rustic, really more commercial, with fewer variations and therefore less visual interest.Yet, initial impressions and slight disappointment aside, we’ve come to admire and reward it for what it is…..simply and sturdily made, quite durable, very functional, and easy on the eye.

Very happy with this purchase. Looks great on our deck, and we were pleasantly surprised at how much heat it provides. So far appears to be pretty good quality; we’re expecting this will be a great addition to our deck for many years.
