Features
Approximate how much area you want to shade. Triangle, square, or rectangle depending on the number of existing poles, roofs, trees, concrete walls, etc. Use cable wires to connect the shade sail to the hardware if necessary. If you don’t use cable wires, keep a 0.5 – 2 ft space between D rings and poles to give space for the hardware kits that come with adjustable turnbuckles to tighten & create tension.
Edges are finished with heavy-duty double-layered reinforced stitched seams, which prevent frayed edges and keep the shade sail in shape, stainless D rings are attached to each corner for easy installation, and corners are constructed with an extra amount of stitched seams to maximize the strength of D rings.
Measurement is taken from corner to corner. Edges are made slightly curved based on precisely calculated radian to help the shade sail stay tight and neat after installation and to prevent the shade sail from sagging in the middle. If you prefer straight edges, please contact us for a custom order.
A shade sail is made of 100% Non-Recycled 200 GSM HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), blocks up to 95% of harmful UV, woven knitted, breathable fabric allows water and breeze to go through which prevents pooling water and catches less wind. UV inhibitors are now added during the manufacturing of the shade cloth and quality shade cloths now generally comes with a 5-year UV degradation warranty. Made to last under sun exposure, resistant to UV, water & fading.

Item arrived as promised and color is a lovely turquoise. Fabric looks and feels sturdy enough to stand up to wind gusts. We had a trial install and realized that we will need to revise our plans and add posts of some kind to lift the shade sail to an appropriate height. It adds a tropical feel to the community pool, and we plan to add one or two more in different areas.
