Brinsea’s best selling EcoGlow Chick Brooder has been redesigned to be even safer, more economical and easier to clean. The new EcoGlow Safety 600 USHD611C is ideal to raise up to 20 newly hatched chicks or ducklings and suitable for any waterfowl or game-bird chicks and for classroom hatches. The larger size EcoGlow Safety 1200 USHD612C is suitable for raising up to 35 newly hatched chicks. This chick brooder is constructed from ABS plastic, which makes it robust and ensures reliable use for a long time. The metal warming plate evens out hot and cold spots which occur with plastic heat plates improving heat radiation and the new flared skirt design retains more heat further reducing energy use. Unlike other chick heating plates the Brinsea EcoGlow Safety run at 12V from a mains transformer (supplied) – a much safer option than mains voltage and features a generous 10 feet power lead. Its 4 adjustable legs allow you to adjust the height according to the size of the chicks. This poultry brooder does not emit disturbing lights, and ensures zero risk of catching fire.
