High quality. Solid. The cedar smells like cedar. Looks great assembled. Though I will say it is a lot of measuring and assembly. Took my spouse over 3 hours, by himself, to assemble it in the garage and then we moved it into place the next day. (And he’s very capable.) It’s just a lot of assembly and a power drill. (Laughed at instructions that said screw driver.) There was 1 warped piece of wood, but we used it anyway. Also some of the pieces are a bit rough and splintery and needed a sanding. In retrospect, I should have sanded those pieces before assembly, but we started the project late at night in the garage and couldn’t make that much noise. The pieces of wood have natural variations in color. (Light, medium and dark colors.) I laid out the pieces in the order I wanted them assembled. (Top and sides.) Part of the assembly took forever because you had to get the spacing exact to make it symmetrical. There are no markings or notches on the wood to know where to screw things together. Overall a very nice piece, and I’m hoping it will last for many years. I plan to train grapes to grow on it. It seems like it should support the weight of the grape vines.

This is beautiful! It took my boyfriend and I two hours to put it together and it wasn’t hard. It’s well-made, sturdy, and beautiful. The wood is good quality. When putting to together, making sure it is on a flat surface is very helpful to get all of the pieces parallel.

Great product that was easy to assemble. All the pieces were there. It needed some sanding I agree. But it was not a big deal. Took all of 15 minutes to Do it. In the end it looks fabulous. Fits perfectly in my back yard. I am going to stain it to give it some extra protection against water.
