I was hesitant to buy because of the weight and size dimensions—I thought it was going to be gargantuan—but decided to take the plunge because in reviewers’ photos, it looked really good. It is well made and appropriately sized. It holds a good amount of mail and the design is classic but subtly quirky and really adds character to the front of the house. We just put it up this weekend so we’ll see how it holds up over time but immediately love the weight of the cast aluminium. Gives it a very sturdy feel and confidence that it will withstand our crazy Canadian weather. It fits in perfectly with our existing decor.

Over all, love it!!! It’s so cute and super durable. Little awkward to install because you have to screw it in at in angle, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Only complaint is that the opening at the top is wide enough to stick your whole hand in, so there’s really no point in the lock feature. I wish it was thinner at the top so mail could slip through but not hands. Still deserves 5 stars over all.

We ordered the brickstone color and love it! (The color is true to the picture, and makes for a good accent for the front of our home.) This mailbox is solid, heavy, and sturdy, and is a good size for the 2 of us. Package does not include the hardware you need to secure it to your home (i.e., ~6 screws), but installation is a breeze once you have them.

Update – been a year and still looks new.Plenty of room if you forget to empty it for a few days.Still very happy with this purchase.
