We love that this light has a built-in dusk-to-dawn photocell that automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, saving energy during daylight hours. It’s made of steel with a circular backplate, a slim curved arm, and a bell-shaped shade.

Looks great, packaged well, all parts included, installed easy. The sensor worked flawlessly, at least on the first night after installing yesterday. If you don’t want the sensor to kick in, the parts and instructions are included to bypass it. It’s black, with the underside painted a bronze-like color. Very nice. The size was perfect and exactly what we expectedhoped. We went with the 15” wide.
One thing to note, which didn’t concern me at all, is that the unit is fairly lightweight. That’s probably a good thing overall and it makes sense given the pricing. It’s not a solid hunk of metal crafted by steel-smiths with hammers. It’s a somewhat thin and lightweight piece of lighting made in China. No problem for what it is, but something for people to expect. I’m happy with it.
