This USPS-approved mailbox is equipped with a large, patented, hopper-style access door, which allows easy delivery of mail bundles, small to medium-sized parcels, and large prescription drug bottles. It features an outgoing mail clip behind the delivery door. This Oasis Classic Locking Mailbox by Architectural Mailboxes can be installed atop or into masonry columns.

This is a great locking mailbox.I compared many and this was the clear winner.I like the shape, size and the out going mail spot.I wish it had some kind of mounting hardware but other than that just what I was looking for.

I’ve been looking for box like this for awhile, and didn’t like the standard big box offerings.This is very well made and was easy to install on my existing wooden platform set up.There are many holes in the bottom to attached to a wooden base.Secure, nice looking, will hold smaller packages that are frequently delivered to my place.

The mailbox is beautiful and very safe. Although I ordered Bronze color, their Bronze color is more Grayish Bronze. It did not matter to me because it does not make a great difference from the Color of my gate. I also purchased the post.

This mailbox is much more secure than our last one which was also a locking type. Thieves were able to pry the old one open with a crowbar. They have tried to pry this one open and have bent each corner out but we were able to bend tham back. The lock has not broken. We are happy with it and hope the thieves don’t resort to using greater force.

Ordered the Oasis locking post mounted mailbox as a gift for Christmas. Recipients loved and I’m considering ordering one for myself. Very sturdy (not flimsy) a good size overall including both compartment sizes. Bought because mail thieves have been an issue. The locking design will assist greatly with storing recieved mail appropriately but still haven’t figured out a good way to mail out items safely so they are not stolen. Overall I am glad I bought and recipients were super excited to receive
