Easy to put together, Phillips head and a wrench. Poker and cover included. I missed the memo, so that was a nice surprise. Depth of the bottom plate is ideal. It is low so I put two paver squares underneath (after I melted my outdoor rug). Oh well. The grate has small enough holes that it contains paper ash nicely.Nice size. The rectangular shape is great for larger groups of people relative to a circular pit. We have used it every night since it arrived (6days straight) Everyone that has come over is surprised at how impressed they could be by a fire pit. W

I was building a tent sight on my property and this was just right for it. It keeps the fire off the ground and sparks from getting into the trees. A little tricky to put together but a good buy.

Exactly what I was looking for!! Larger I’m person which was a good surprise. I was worried that a 6” deep bowl wouldn’t be enough it it perfect. We had to work and bending one of the metal bar pieces that surround the pit for the screws to align. It was obviously bent before packing and that’s frustrating.. there was no missing it.But sometimes you do get what you pay for. Once together it’s perfect! The screen lid is very tall. The cooking grate can be pulled across the ledge to stoke the coals. And the cover is the best part!! Made to specifically fit this odd shaped fire pit. A perfect fit!!
I intend to modify the bowl with some air vent holes. Once burning there was no way to keep oxygen in with the coals and they didn’t burn hot enough. I will also add an inexpensive dollar store roasting grate for the cooking side and the coals buried themselves in their own ash and burned out. Needs air circulation below. I am overall extremely happy with this pit. Better than I was expecting. Really great side and great features

This fire pit is AWESOME. I didn’t realize it came with a FIRE PIT COVER! Wow!!!!!
I didn’t want something round for a fire pit. I wanted something with a lid cover and something deeper to hold the wood but still felt safe enough for young kids to be around. I liked the feature of the front screen being able to be lifted up to add more wood or to roast our marshmallows in stead of having to lift up the whole screen, which is a tad dangerous when it is HOT.Like I said, the screen lifts in the front and it was just more convenient.
It seems sturdy enough to last for more than just the winter season. We went a head and bought a can of ultra heat spray paint for $5 and gave it an extra coating to keep rust away longer. This is a solid purchased and we used it right away to watch our Astros during the play-offs. Since it was not cold , the pit still burned to help keep the mosquito away.This is a great buy for me and I am happy.
