I’m a widow & have not had a picnic table since my husband passed. I was able to put this together all by myself. My cup runneth over. Thank you so much!

Very easy to make. This does not include wood but definitely a cheaper alternative to purchasing a picnic table. This project took about 30 minutes once we had the wood.I made the 8ft picnic table and love it.

These are awesome!!This makes building a pic-nic table so easy.We bought some non-perforated pressure treated 2x4s to do these and had them assembled quickly. We use it all the time.We have a second set that we will be assembling soon. These are convenient!

Looks very classy when put together…nice that you can utilize the benches for other means, for instance you could put your plants/planters on them.

I love these! Bought two sets and made a twelve foot table with four benches in one afternoon! They were outside all winter and held up quite well.

This kit went together beautifully, and is very sturdy. We made it 8’ long, and it looks great at our animal rescue center.

Pretty sweet table dude! So, any hack like myself should be able to handle building this thing if you are comfortable with using basic tools. Besides the saw to cut the wood, It will help if you have a cordless drill with a long phillips bit or extension, (2) 36″ clamps & (2) smaller 12″ clamps to hold boards in place while you attach them, and a triangle or large metal framing square. I did smooth the lumber out with a palm sander and 100 grit sandpaper to avoid splinters too. I’m taller so I raised the height of the benches and table with 2×4’s under the legs as you can see in the picture. It’s totally boosted homeslice! And way more comfortable for me and my bros. My advice is too take time while picking out your lumber and get straight pieces. Also, make sure the wood is kiln dried and not green. Usually there’s a stamp on the boards that shows this. Don’t buy lumber that has an “S-GRN” label or similar. It means the wood is still green and will probably warp over time. On my table I used a hole saw with my drill to put in a hole for an umbrella. I also added (2) cross braces underneath the table to the bottom of the legs for added stability because I’m totally rad.. I have used these “2 x 4 Basics” kits before to build a work bench and shelf successfully with no issues. I used the off the shelf home cheapo cedar deck stain, but the great thing is that you can stain it any crazy color you want. I know you can do this and I got your back.
