This is a fixed open-sided slope door and window awning that is patented, modular, DIY, and hand-crafted. The framework is made out of a beautiful commercial-grade mill finish aluminum that will not rust. The hardware is stainless steel and provides additional support to the durable frame. The awning fabric is woven out of the beauty-mark branded 100% acrylic fabric and has resistant coatings to help 1. maintain its rich color while being exposed to harsh UV rays, 2. prevent mildew and soil buildup, and 3. maintain a water-resistant barrier allows for rain to roll off of the awning and not soak through the fabric. These awning are beautiful; however, the installation into stucco is not easy.Need better instruction and most of the holes in the metal brackets were no pre-drilled.Thank goodness my hubby is handy – he got frustrated, but in the end, they looked great and great quality.Well worth it if you can figure out the instructions.
