I purchased 2 sets and they are about 5ft. tall. I really love these lamps in spite of the very lightweight base. You can attach the base to concrete or wood as mentioned but for a temporary use, i am placing them in a planter with sand as an anchor and use foliage to decorate the planter.
I love its’ versatility as you can also shorten the pole and make it a table lamp-post centerpiece in varying heights, for example like for a Paris themed event. Easy to assemble and easy to breakdown for storage, if necessary. The high setting is quite bright, however, I haven’t tried the low setting yet. I am definitely purchasing more sets!!
