Freestanding Villa Pergola with Motorization and LED Lighting Included, 13′ x 10′

Product: 10’ x 13’ pergola – dark grey
Shipping: Great, called before dropping off and was very considerate about box placement. A few of the boxes were damaged, but appear to have been fixed in-transit and none of the parts were damaged due to the excellent part packaging from Bon Pergola.
Part prep for build: All parts were well labeled and easy to follow with instructions. Did receive wrong bolts, spacers,and nuts quantity for design, but BON Pergola quickly responded and sent the correct parts.
Installation notes:
– Prep parts prior connecting, remove all hard plastic and coating protection before install.
– Install 10’ cross beams first on poles and then the 13’ beams. The 10’ beams sit behind the 13’ beams on the poles and this makes for an easier install of the 13’ beams.
– Note which beam has the four bolts for the motor – you will want this beam closest to your power source.
– Install rubber stops for gutters prior to gutter install.
– Insert motor/bracket into gutter prior to hanging gutter.
– Mount motor after “I”, “H”, and first “G” louver install.
– Instructions state that louver bolts should not be over tightened – note bolts should be tightened enough to engage the locking nuts, but should rotate freely to ensure the louver motor is not over stressed. Signs of the nuts are too tight, if louvers are not flush when in closed state.
Additional notes:
– May want to cover mounting plate for poles – believe BON Pergola sells them
– LED strip lights embedded into gutters are well done – the light color is daylight and very bright. Does not come with dimmer, but can be customized.
– Comes with two very nice wireless remotes for louver and light control – wifi integration for app control would be a nice upgrade for this too.

I am very impressed with this unit so far.The lighting is bright and the louvers work great.We have had the unit on hand for about 8 months and has held up to the elements well.Time will tell if the unit degrades over time but for now I have nothing bad at all to say.I would buy another one in a hearbeat (may get another one as well if they come out with a smaller triangular shaped model that would go perfectly over an L shaped outdoor kitchen).
