Enjoy the beauty of the money tree, which features solid, green foliage and is fantastic for large spaces. Grow money tree in medium, indirect light. Water it about once a week with approximately 2-3 cups. Ensure excess water drains. Adjust as needed for your environment. Never let money trees sit in water or saturated soil. It’s about 42″ tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. Money tree plants in a 10″ black grower pot. To help with water drainage, this container does have holes. This money tree is generally a moderate grower, depending on the environment and care provided. Boost growth in spring and summer with a fertilizer labeled for potted plants following the product’s instructions. When the money tree outgrows its current container, a report by gently removing it from its container and placing it in a 2″ wider container. Fill with potting mix and water thoroughly. Hardy outdoors in USDA zones 10-12. Exposure to the sap of this plant may cause discomfort to individuals with a sensitivity to it upon contact. Grown for ornamental purposes and not intended for human or animal consumption.

The money tree is a fabulous indoor plant that features several trunks braided together and large compound, hand-shaped leaves. In a bright spot, it’s a relatively fast grower, so you can enjoy it as a lovely floor plant for your home or office. It is grown on our farm.
Plant bio: Pachira aquatica. Though you might not guess it, the money tree is related to hibiscus and cocoa. It comes from swampy areas of Central and South America. In its natural habitat, money tree can grow more than 50 feet tall but stays much smaller indoors. While it likes warm, humid conditions, it does well in average household conditions and can be a good alternative for plants like fiddle leaf figs that need more light and are more sensitive to over or underwatering.
Because it likes to stay moist, the money tree is a good choice if you have tended to overwater your houseplants in the past.
