I bought these hand grips to attach to a play set my husband built for my in-home daycare. We attached them at the top of a ladder step to help the children climb onto a 3 1/2′ deck.These hand grips protrude enough to make it easy for the children to grab.We also purchased the pirate wheel to attach to the deck railing.I discussed that in a different review.These grips are sturdy, durable and functional.They are a bit pricey, but I expect they will last for a long time. I would recommend them.
Pros: sturdy, durable, functional. Neutral color blends well with the landscape and the wood structure.
Cons:a bit pricey

Exactly as pictured. The green paint was flaking off on one handle near the screw hole but it wasn’t that big of a deal to return.
