Excellent size, you can lit one side for the family and both to hold a large party.
As purist BBQer, I prefer to use only non-treated lump charcoal and hardwood logs; and though the space in each crate is smaller than typical log length, they do fit diagonally. Flow of air is great and the size between wires in the charcoal tray is small enough to hold 1/2 inch pieces, so most of the bag is usable.
Note: don’t leave the door opened too long or the stainless color will not last.

We have used this BBQ for the entire summer/fall season and are very happy with it.I love the traditional charcoal taste you get from this beautiful and well functional BBQ.Just keep in mind that since this is not a gas BBQ, you need to be patient as it takes a while to get it going as all the charcoal has to heat up.We make veggie burgers and sausages, vegetables, potatoes,and even our homemade pizza in this BBQ.The taste is amazing!
