I use this on my back patio which is somewhat protected. If it is too windy it won’t do much for you but when I have my screens down it gets quite toasty. It also does not off gas or produce any kind of smell which is what I was going for with an electric heater. I am very pleased with this product especially considering the price.

I love that the height is adjustable, and it has multiple heat settings – Although, I would likely only ever use the highest setting, as it doesn’t put off a huge amount of heat otherwise.
