Just what I expected.Our municipality is no longer picking up glass recycling, but has a central place we can drop it off.Bought these to make our “glass recycling” (read empty wine bottle!) storage a little nicer to look at on the back porch.Hoping these don’t rust too fast!

I didn’t use it for wine.Instead, we keep water in the refrigerator and every time you open it up the bottles go everywhere.Works great!
