The growing medium uses minerals to mimic the buffering ability of soil by absorbing and releasing nutrients. The Starter-kit Grow Box is a wonderful option to help you keep your houseplants healthy. It stops your houseplants from drying out, but can also prevent overwatering too. All you have to do is remember to top up the water reservoir every 2 to 4 weeks and they will provide your indoor plants with a constant supply of water. The visual indication window is really easy to monitor the water level of this planter. A nice feature of these Grow Box planters is that they have a drainage plug in the bottom that can be removed. This allows you to take your plants out to the patio during the summer and if it is wet you can remove the plug to allow access rainwater to drain out of the pot, preventing the soil from becoming waterlogged.
