This is a great addition to my courtyard; I bought it to keep the area warm on chilly days and nights.
I purchased a new propane tank that easily connected it to the hose that was included (even though the Product Details say: Hose Set Included: No)
It was not hard to assemble but it took 2 of us an hour (the book says 30 minutes; they lied).Along with the wrench and screwdriver that the directions recommend, I also needed a torque ratchet wrench to complete the assembly.
All the parts were marked clearly. There are blue plastic protective sheets covering the 5 pieces of the reflector that peal off easily. I read other reviews that said they were having such a hard time removing the plastic. If you pull slowly it will come off in sheets.Also the reflector comes in 5 pieces that get put together and they don’t fit perfectly (see picture showing gap on the connecting edge) but it’s good enough. Also, the edges of these pieces are very sharp so be careful handling them.
The heater is taller than I expected. Filling it with sand makes it sturdier but also makes it heavy to move around even with the attached wheels.
I’ve only used it once so far because it hasn’t been cold here.The heater worked exactly as we had hoped it would and is easy to use.
Ilove the bronze finish which matches the decor on my patio.
