It took a while to put together, lots of steps, but it’s exactly what I needed.I’ve installed it to the side of my garage so I can park my small camper trailer underneath.

A very good Product

The instructions were right that it needed 3 people to put together, but that was for the holding in place and not because any one piece was overly heavy.Took a little while to assemble, but well worth it.

We absolutely love the awning. Took two people to anchor to house and one to hand up panels. A lot of work but beautiful now that it’s up.
Dan (verified owner) –
We are enjoying sitting on the patio since we had the awning installed. Well worth the money.

Shipping is relatively slower than most,it I guess as expected for large, oversized items. Ordered 3/26, shipped on 4/8, arrived at a Wayfair delivery site on 4/10, and is supposed to be delivered on 4/12. After researching reliability vs. ease of installation vs. price, I decided on the Heritage Patio. Cannot wait to install this weekend. Will update as to ease of installation, overall look, and functionality.
After I received via shipping:
Pros:
Economical, good, solid awning for the price.Relatively easy to assemble, although it would held tremendously to have additional help! Looks great once assembled.
Cons: Why did I undertake this project by myself? I am relatively handy, and it took approximately 12 hours to assemble by myself. The directions are garbage. The pictures are useless, often showing something different than what is being referenced. There are sometimes multiple names for the same piece of material that you must figure out. These overlap perfectly, yet the last roof panel was about 6” too wide, and had to be cut. You are supposed to be able to snap roof panels together. NO way, especially standing on an 8 ft ladder. I had to spend about 10 minutes each roof panel, bending one of the sides all the way down the length of the panel, just so it would snap into place. The directions are very vague about heights and measuring for poles, where it can and cannot be placed, etc… the directions showed included materials that included a masonry bit, later on, it shows masonry but not included. Directions also call all small screws, under 2”, sheet metal screws, and you must figure out which screw goes with which particular step you are on.
Overall Impression: be prepared to study directions for a day or two and familiarize yourself with all the parts before attempting to assemble! This will save you time in the long run! Overall, after reading other reviews about length of time and help for assembly, I am glad the length of time was only 12 hours. Looks nice once assembled, just be prepared to make some adjustments and additional cuts.

The instructions weren’t perfect, but we figured out how to install it. We made a newbie mistake… we were so concerned about getting a minimum amount of slope to the awning that we forgot to account for door clearance. We made it work by raising the posts and will eventually order new posts and cut accordingly. Meanwhile, we’ll invest in a good roof snow rake.
