Bold, bright, and breezy, this blue and green area rug showcases stripes in several sizes for a classic pop of pattern. This durable design is machine-woven in Egypt from polypropylene – a synthetic material that resists water, staining, and fading – making it an ideal anchor for indoor and outdoor arrangements alike. Thanks to its low 0.15″ pile height, this rug is easy to clean and maintain (just vacuum regularly and spot clean with mild soap as needed).

Regular vacuuming without the beater bar helps the rug remain attractive and serviceable; clean spills immediately by blotting with a clean sponge or cloth; rinse clean with a garden hose when heavily soiled.
The use of a rug pad is recommended; initial creasing is normal, and these will generally fall out within a few days to a week; tightly reversing rolling the rug (pile side out) and leaving it in a warm area for several hours will aid in the removal of creases or lingering fold marks as well.

This rug is extremely well made and colors are vibrant.The colors are described on the tag on the back of the rug as follows:Kelly green, aruba blue, and indigo blue.There is also a cream/off-white stripe throughout the rug.Two things to note:The tape or edging along the perimeter of the rug shows indigo blue on the picture on the website, which sets the rug off nicely.We actually received a rug with the color of the perimeter tape in the Kelly green color, which does not sharply define the rug as shown in the picture.Also, it should be noted that the tag on the back of the rug states that “all sizes of rugs have a 3″ margin smaller or larger.”I have seen this applied to hand made rugs but not to machine made rugs.My ordered 8’6″ x 13′ rug was actually 8’4” x 13, a two inch difference in width.
