Tyjohn Extendable Metal Outdoor Dining Table

Very happy with this outdoor table! We often host gatherings so the fact that this extends to fit more people is perfect! It definitely seems like it will hold up well. Solid metal and very heavy! It was also easy to assemble. I just needed to screw in the legs!

Solid table, very easy to assemble

I ordered this table to fit a tight space on my back patio. My main goal was to seat 6 within the space while having the ability to expand the tableto seat 8 in a pinch. I can comfortably say this table does everything I wanted!
I only have two caveats with this table, one of them being a slight build quality gripe, while the other is a design preference, so take it as you will.
The only real flaw with this table is the latch mechanism that holds the sliding leafs in place. The rotating latch is fine, but the plastic it holds on to is held in with crooked metal screws and can’t get very tight without stripping the self tapped holes. I can see this being an issue in the future if I need to keep adjusting them.
In no way is that a reason I wouldn’t buy this table, as that’s something I’m willing to deal with at this price. I think this table is a great value, and I’m happy thought was put into a latching mechanism in the first place. The table construction itself is really durable. It’s an all metal design and the legs are simple to attach while being really sturdy. Insert and tighten 8 bolts and you’re done!
My second gripe is in the aesthetic of the table. I find the way it incorporates the sliding leaf mechanism to be a bit bulky. I’m fine with it as I bought this table for function over form, and the slides are very sturdy. I think you’d have to spend more than double this to get something more streamlined while being as sturdy.
Overall I think this table is a great buy, just make sure your chairs are the right height because this table seems a little taller than others.
