The finish is attractive and doesn’t look like plastic. Poles are metal and screw together so unless screws are tight they tend to bulge out a bit and look crooked. Put out fair amount of light which is not overly bright. They stay lighted for most of the night- about 8 hours. They look attractive.Would purchase again.

These Pagoda Hanging Solar lights by Winsome House are a perfect addition to my garden. They light up the pathway, but are not too bright. Some solar lights are so bright, they make your path look like like an airport runway, but these lights have a nice, romantic glow. They hang on a sturdy, metal Shepherds hook which you stick in the ground. Because it is metal, it supports the lamp properly without bending or falling over. The lamp also has an on/off switch which is a nice feature if you want to store it away for the winter. We have been using these lights for a month now, and have had no problems during rain storms. I would highly recommend these lights to accent any garden or pathway.
