    Love these 7” wide solar lights. We removed old 6″ top boards and replaced with 8″ wide – 2″ thick boards. Prepped & painted then added these two lights on ends. Since we attached to flat boards – not a post, we measured interior of base and cut 2 pieces of wood to anchor the solar light bases on the flat surface. One screw with a washer; mounted the black base, then finished with the top piece. Beautiful. Exactly what I wanted!
