My husband and I chose and purchased from Wayfair this Polycarbonate 10 ft. wide x 3.5 ft. deep Door Awning as a front door front step cover which will be over time anideal protector from all the New England weather elements. Besides adding a very”Modern Touch” being light weight no heaviness LQQK to our colonial style home. The canopy was a 2-person very EZ build and install. The awningwill provide wonderful protection to our front door unit and steps from the New England’s ever changing daily weather.
Most definitely a head turner the over all design of the door awning gets your upmost attention as it boasts a “Contemporary / Trendy / Modern appearance with Function” in mind. This door awning is not only a great functional cover but, also a trendy / contemporary / moderndecoration to our living space when you only have one time to impress your guests waiting at the front door .
The awning is a “good value”. Don’t hesitate to buy one today, in our eyes the product itself is a 5 star!

Love this awning so far! We have had one up for a couple of days now and plan to hang another soon. It looks great but will see if it stands the test of time.The traditional fabric awnings where destroyed by sun exposer which is quite intense at our house, so im hoping these will withstand a little more exposer.Because the awnings are light weight and are using compression to hold the middle pieces together they are slightly challenging to hang, requiring at least 3 people to prevent them from sliding apart.We temporally used electrical tape to hold them together until we got them hung, then removed it. That worked well.Love the way they look and priced right!

Took me a minute to find an awning that had specifications i was looking for and the good reviews to boost my hopes for the purchase. It’s been up for a week and we’ve already had a few rains hit in Chicago. So far it’s lovely and sturdy. Highly recommend having at least two people help with the installation. Just FYI

I will wait for a heavy storm, with wind and hopefully heavy snow, to convince me that it deserves an A+.I divided itsthree sections in a two section unit for my back yard entrance,and one sectionit became a great basement door canopy after I added a carefullydesigned support on one side.
A deeper than 3 ft version may be welcomed, but we have to keep in mind that the wind pressure is so great that at some point will put the existing building structure locally to a very high stress. We want it to last for at least fifty years, when this design will become unfashionable and it needsreplaced with a new design and berried with great honor.
