These chairs are fold for storage in the most unusual way. That said, the mechanism is ingenious. Once unfolded, the chairs can be moved without worrying about pinched fingers since there are two spring loaded latches that engage. Folding simply requires one to reach beneath the chairs to unlatch the mechanism. Please note that when the chairs are folded for storage they do take up more space than lawn chairs. Make sure you have adequate space for off-season storage.

Very comfortable, even without a cushion. Came completely pre-assembled and so just had to take them out of the box. Seem to be durable and high quality.

I was really happy with the quality of these chairs. The look nice, feel sturdy and are super easy to fold up when the time comes to put them away. They also came assembled, which is a huge plus! The color is a nice dark blond which matched the acacia wood table even though they weren’t a set. They lean back a little, but not too much and there an honest 18 inches high, since they don’t sag like a fabric chair.

I bought these because they looked much more robust than chairs that come with 3 piece sets. The seats fold differently than I was expecting, not like a metal folding chair. There is a pin on a spring that slots into the back of the chair. To collapse the chair, you have to release the pin by pushing back from the underside of the seat. Not difficult, but a bit of a surprise the first time I went to fold the chairs back up
