Brass Dragonfly in Flight Door Knocker

I was undecided on the dragonfly door knocker, however, I couldn’t be more in love with the quality and detail. My only issue is I don’t have more doors to order them all!

Item is more lovely than pictured and arrived packaged beautifully in gift box (if you were gifting). Hardware included, too. Scale if knocker is perfect for our cape house and single front door.

I purchased the premium version, which is about two inches wider on both length and width. I don’t know that the larger version is worth $43 – $50 more, but the regular version would have been too small for my taste. It looks great on my green door, but as one reviewer commented, there is a lot of play on it, so it wobbles from side to side with the slightest movement or wind. However, I noticed that wobble effect gives it sort of a realistic effect – at a slight distance, is seems like there is something alive on my door, so I like it. I wrote the company to enquire about the amount of play, but at this point, I am very satisfied with my purchase. This dragonfly, along with a new kick-plate and a new coat of paint on the door and trim rejuvenated the entrance to my home. My wife likes it a lot!
