I have been using pizza stones (from another brand) for years! I have needed a new one for some time but do not like the changes of the other brand and have been hesitant to try a new brand because of how much I love my currant stones. I am SO happy I decided to give this stone a try! This stone is thicker than my older stone, bit larger in circumference and much heavier. But heat is still very evenly distributed and homemade pizza cooks PERFECTLY. We have also used the stone for frozen foods and the stone pulls out the moisture, making the frozen foods taste a lot more like fresh foods. Clean up is easy! (NO SOAP!!) Just wipe down with a wet rag or for stuck bits, use a little kitchen scraper.

This pizza stone really lives up to its claims. I heated it up in a hot oven, as per the instructions. I topped my pizza with sun dried tomato bruschetta, mushrooms, kalamata olives and cheese. I quickly discovered that it would be very helpful to have a wooden pizza paddle to transfer my handmade pizza to the stone. I’ll probably be getting one soon. My pizza cooked perfectly, crispy outside, tender inside, and evenly baked throughout. I had never used a pizza stone before and I was really pleased with the results. It reminded us of the pizzas we have eaten in Italy. This was a very successful purchase!

I chose to get this pizza stone because I not only reheat slices of pizza, I actually make them from scratch now. I love the fact that his one measures 16″ in diameter which is more than the 14″ one I previously owned. An added bonus was the weight and thickness which is awesome when it comes to getting a nice crispy crust. I made a pizza on the stone yesterday, and I think it was the best one yet!!! In the attached picture you can see the difference I was talking about. I definitely would recommend this product.

This is a great grilling stone. We’ve cooked Taquitos on it so far, and we’re doing a pizza next week. It’s weighty and very large – you may want to measure your oven to ensure that the stone isn’t too big.

We leave this in the oven all the time. However, the stone should be retangular to better accommodate cookie sheets 🙂

I am still trying to figure out why it took so long for me to buy a pizza stone.
Cooking a frozen pizza gave it a golden crispy crust. yum

Very impressed with the size of the pizza stone. The only thing I’m not sure of is whether you have to season it before using it.From owning other pizza stones in the past, that was recommended but it wasn’t in the instructions here.I may just do it to be safe.
