    This product is the perfect replacement lantern head for a post that is more than 30 years old.The electrical connections on the original lamppost have deteriorated with age. I thought that I would need a completely new lamppost.The newer model has an improved design that made total replacement unnecessary.

    I’m very pleased with our newly and easily installed outdoor light. It appears to be durable, the 12″ globe is appropriately sized to add a simple, modern look to our midcentury house, and because there is no shade to block the light, it illuminates our walk and driveway much better than our old lantern.

    Was a bit of a chore to put into the ground but more a function of our dirt and electrical line than that of the lamp. Has the look we wanted for our 1954 ranch. Gave good light up our driveway for the Trick or Treaters. Please note during the transition from daylight to dusk and then dark, the light will blink on and off until it senses enough dark to stay on. We like it!
