Delivery was very quick and although boxes were very battered, packing material protected the parts well with only a few minor cosmetic chips (touch-up paint included).Instruction manual mislabeles Beam Connectors 11 and 11a, so just use the opposite part when building.Considering the size of the frame and number of parts/holes, it fit together pretty well. That said, a small round file and a drill bit will widen the occasional holes that are slightly offset and ream out hole punches that are too small for screws, respectively.Recommend using the cardboard packaging and wood blocks to prop up frame to protect the finish during assembly. As always, hex bit provided is small -have a couple longer ones or drill bit adapter on hand to speed things up.I threaded some wire through the canopy loops to keep the in place during assembly. One person can do a lot of the work, but three are needed to stand up and connect the two halves of the frame. Two people are needed to install the canopy.

tempted to knock one star off for the cheesy hardware used to assemble, but considering the price, its a very nice pergola.Beware when you are assembling!Once the screws are drilled in you will have a heck of a tome reversing them! They are very soft metal- should resist rust- but don’t back out well.Found that out the hard way when I tightened down the top brackets that hold cross beams to top of posts. The parts numbered 11 and 11a were also mislabeled-make sure you use the ones with eight holes on the long sides of frame. The canopy fabric is somewhat mesh like and doesn’t sun block like a nice umbrella would. All parts were in the kit- save one mislabeled angle support- and Paragon is sending another. You will need at least two people and two good ladders plus drill with hex bit cuz the allen wrench included is tiny and wrong size. The directions were nice and clear, and both wayfair and paragon have good customer service if you need.once its erected and bolted down it seems pretty sturdy. For the price its definitely worth it. Much much lighter in weight than a wooden one and doesnt require that maintenance.

This is the greatest purchase for our patio. While we had a couple mistakes putting it all together- which took us twice as long to assemble, it keeps the patio remarkably cool, is beautiful, sturdy and attractive. I highly recommend this purchase.

This is a great pergola. The metal legs look like wood which is a great esthetic. It’s instructions were clear and simple. It took time – about 8 hours to put together with an electric drill (not using the little screwdriver pin that came with the kit). At some points needed 2-3 people. One person to hold, two people to measure and hold another area. But end product looks nice and is as described. Happy with our purchase!
