Easily store your bike or ladder overhead and out of the way with the Storage Hoist by Rad Cycle. Smooth pulleys and latches make lifting heavy items a snap, while the exclusive rope locking mechanism prevents unwanted release and can suspend up to 100-pounds. Please note, you can mount this item as pictured on a 2 X 4 and screw the 2 X 4 to the joist or mount it right to the joist itself. The ceiling storage hoist is ideal for creating storage in your garage or shed!

    This appears to be well made and it’s very heavy in the box so you’ll want to have a solid ceiling to start with. I wanted to use it because my apartment is small but found that even with 12 foot ceilings it’s a little to cumbersome to have a giant object hanging from the roof.
