The modern design is exactly what I was looking for! I wanted a modern outdoor chair for our large fire pit that didn’t require replacing every few years. Our previous plastic ones were cheap and light, so we had to stake them down. These are almost 40 lbs. each. Love that this is made of recycled milk jugs and has a 20 year warranty. There are only 10 screws to assemble and took less than 15 minute per chair by myself. The back three boards are extremely thin and bow a little when sitting in them. Wish they were a little thicker, but maybe that is why the chair is so comfortalbe to sit in. Looks awesome and ended up ordering a total of 8 of the Slate Gray!

We ordered two of these chairs for our garden to replace two wood adirondaks that were rotting and peeling.It is good to know these should not suffer that fate.They sit higher than the traditional design, which is fine for us.They are also smaller scale, and I would have liked a more roomy arm for my beverage!But overall it is a good design.Time will tell if screws into the plastic material will hold. Mostly it is bolted with relatively few bits of hardware to deal with.So just two screws that go into the “polywood” material that have me concerned.I hope it is recyclable when it does eventually give out.Inthe meantime I will be happy to not paint them every year and not have to replace rotted out bits!A good purchase overall!

I’ve been eyeing polywood adirondackchairs for the past few years and after doing much research and price comparison I am so pleased with these modern Adirondack chairs. They feel much more comfortable than the traditional style. They don’t sit back quite as far as the traditional style but they’re perfect for both comfort and having the ability to rest one’s head back and look up to enjoy the night sky by the fire. They’re great for gathering outdoors for conversation with friends or family. I would buy them again though I think they’ll last for years.

Love my chairs! Updating the Adirondack chair did not impact its comfort. It just “ citified” it a bit.
I replaced 3 old creaky ( love the sound) wicker rockers on my porch.Am so pleased with the final result. Some of the hardware enclosed did not fit and customer service at Wayfair resolved this issue. The first chair took me too much time to put together and the second chair felt like it was together in a moment. Very pleased with the entire transaction. Definitely recommend the product and Retailer. Thank you.

I think adirondack chair in a bit more modern style is an ” A ” plus look in the garden . Let me top that for you . It is the absolute most comfortable chair you could chose for an outdoor space . Made of heavy , recycled plastic it will stand up to NY weather and last for years , Easy assembly even for me .
