This base easily fills with water, adding all the support your patio umbrella need. Long receptacle poles can accommodate umbrella poles that have a diameter of 1.5″ to 1.9″. The base weighs approximately 5 lbs. when empty making it easy to take when unfilled. It is decorative and will look great in your garden, on your deck, or you could even use it at an outdoor event! The attractive base complements any outdoor furniture while the built-in pole lock supports your patio umbrella, keeping it safe from high temperatures, wind, and rain.

I have was getting frustrated trying to find a stand that would accept a 2” pole. Most stands don’t even specify but any umbrella over 9 foot is going to have a two inch pole. Even searching for one failed to find anything suitable or definable in terms of size.
This stand is PERFECT!
It comes with adapters for four different sized poles. It’s attractive and easy to set up. I give this beauty 5 stars.

I live in a windy area and am always looking for ways to keep the umbrellas from flying around. I placed two of these on flat concrete surface, filled the bottom with water and they haven’t moved. This is a great upgrade from previous umbrella bases.

Exceeded my expectations! I have an 8ft diameter umbrella, so online articles suggested 10lb per ft diameter… That’s a lot of weight and hard to find for a free-standing base! But this one came with the two screws to hold the umbrella in place, as advertised, and it feels very secure! I filled it with maybe 25-30lb of wet sand from a 50lb bag (mostly because I got tired and figured I’d see what happened–I recommend someone else to help and a wide mouth funnel or sturdy paper), and it has worked great with both the umbrella opened and closed during moderately heavy storms and winds in Georgia this late summer/fall. It does not waver at ALL despite the surrounding trees moving all around it. I have a small deck that is slightly sheltered from the roughest of the winds, so that probably helps. It’s still very easy to move around to chase the sun if I need to, and as long as I hold the umbrella steady while I maneuver the base or open/close the umbrella, I haven’t had any issues with the base rocking back and forth. At the sale price, it’s a great find!!
