I sent an email to Wayfare to let them know, and ask if it’s normal, or what should I do about it. I have not gotten an answer.I really like the griddle but I’m kind of disappointed in not receiving an answer from Wayfare. I bought many things from Wayfare and will continue to shop just a little disappointed
