My two mice love this little habitat. I made a few changes and additions to make it work for us… such as waxing the interior (beeswax), withholding a small shelf to fit a wheel, gluing main box frame with wood glue, bolting down top screen with screws, adding chicken wire with smaller holes to the top, and (as a previous reviewer recommended) I bolted/glued the smaller bottom panel and put the larger top front panel on hinges (which became my only door/access point). I had a great time putting this together! It sits nicely in our bookshelf.
