Featuring with three finish and a clean, contemporary rectangular tapered design, the window box railing planter is versatile – it can be hung on railings of various sizes and can also be installed to add color and life to your windows. Molded from a patented plastic composite, all Veradek planters are extremely durable and designed to survive all seasons. Window box railing planter are flexible, impact resistant, sturdy yet lightweight, and specifically treated with UV inhibitors to minimize fading. I have been waiting all summer for these planters to come and I finally got them. I wasn’t to thrilled about the high price tag, but in my opinion they are worth it. They are not your run of the mil cheap over the railing planter. The only problem is that these are designed to go over a wider railing. I have an aluminum railing and the top rail is narrower. Because of the that I had to modify the railing bracket to accommodate the narrower rail so that they would be tight to the rail. I bought the 36 inch ones.

This seems like a sturdy planter. For added security, since my neighbors walk below, I screwed the brackets into the rail. There are slots in back that enable you to do this. There are also drainage holes. I would’ve like the option to plug the holes with a stopper, but this didn’t come with any. Despite that, I’d definitely recommend this.

PICKED ESPRESSO AND 2 ARRIVED IN TACK AND A DAY EARLY.WILL HAVE TO GET ADDITIONAL SCREWS TO ANCHOR THE BRACKETS.WENT TOGETHER WELL AND EASY otherwise.I HAVE A 1X 6 board for the brackets to sit on my deck top railing but a bit wobbly now– will screw down with additional screws.The 36″ is big but nice.Looking forward to filling and putting flowers in and will take them in in winter to make them last longer as winters are very coldhere.
