This set is quite lovely. Unfortunately, the right arm chair came damaged. The first order was ‘lost in transit’ and had to be replaced, so it took what seemed like forever for my order to arrive. When I saw the damage, I was super disappointed. This isn’t my first time receiving damaged pe rattan, and waiting for a replacement isn’t ideal. I’ve learned that Apoxy resin glue can ‘fix’ damaged or cut rattan. I tried to fix it, and it looks okay if you don’t know the damage is there, but when I pay for something, I have hopes of it being in perfect shape. Wayfair has always been good about helping in this area. The furniture was actually wrapped very well. When I took off the undamaged wrap, I noticed the the damage. Perhaps slightly better quality control of each item before wrapping it would reduce the amount of times this happens. There has to be a solution that works not only for the customer, but for wayfair as well. Replacements
aren’t free to them and they can be a headache for the customer. Every single person or company who repairs any time of furniture should also be skilled in repairing PE rattan.
