    A little flimsy and all plastic I guess I thought it was metal but, it does the job. Hopefully it will last.Plastic may be better for my area on the coast anyway. Salt water air can rust things prematurely.

    I think this awning will work for areas that do not recieve High winds that will directly impact the awning.I inserted an aluminum 0ne inch wide three feet long bar under the center of the awning to give it more support.We get 60 mile an hour winds.For Area with less wind this is a perfect awning for the price.
