We just installed our 16×12 Kozyard Alexander Gazebo May 2020.My wife and myself installed this ourselves and were very happy with this product. We are in our mid 50’s and were a little concerned with the overall weight of the product. The delivery was received in 4 separate boxes which spread the weight pretty evenly. That made it much more manageable. The keys to our install were….
• Remove all of the parts and sort. There are multiple parts that are the same.
• Take out all of the hardware and put them into plastic baggies and label with the part number.
• Do not tighten the screws, bolts and nuts until you’re done with a section. This allows for all of the holes to align properly.
This took my wife and myself about 20hrs total between 3 days.We are extremely happy with the product. It rained today, no leaks.

Very nice structure, well made. No missing or damaged pieces and the curtains and mosquito net is a nice quality

What an absolute joy this Gazebo has been for us! We lost our last one in the heavy snow last year so we were careful to choose one that could last snow, and wind. It took exactly 6 hours to complete, including arranging pieces beforehand. You will definitely need 2 ladders and at least 2-4 people. My husband is 6’4” so he added 24” to the base with kiln dried northern pine. Our only issue now is finding someone to sew extra fabric to the curtains. I give this 5 stars!

I have waited a couple of years to get this product and I am thrilled with it. I had 2 contractors install it and it did take approximately 10+ hours, but they commented that the instructions were superb and that the photos were very exact. There were only 2 little issues that I think Kozyard could fix. One – the metal brackets (z1 – z4) need to have more of a rubber feel as they kept falling off the roof panels during install. Two – you should include rubber stoppers with the packaging as there were a few spots that we had to use silicone to prevent any water getting through. Once that was patched up everything has been fine as we have had rain and wind for several days and the gazebo and it’s contents look great.I did have one other problem as the netting for mosquitos has a zipper flaw. I am hoping to get a free replacement for this. Now, I’m just hoping that the structure will survive a Canadian winter 🙂

This gazebo is incredible! Solid and well-built. We had hired Handy to do that job but unfortunately that didn’t turn out well. Handy is a great company but this sub-contractor wasn’t good at all. The assembly for them took 3 guys about 12 hours total so it is a lot of work! Highly recommend this gazebo!!

Perfect!! Easy to setup with 2 people. Keeps out all the rain and leaves that would mess up my patio before. Worth a little extra than other gazebos I looked at because the screens come with.

Not difficult to install overall. Instructions are wrong on one step. the tip top of the roof(Piece marked ‘K’) blocks some of the roof panels from being installed. It should be installed after all of the angled roof panels are installed. That way you can still get up there to line it up and screw it down. After that finish off the square roof panels of the top roof layer, and you’re good to go.
Took three days of ~7 hours a day to complete solo, with light help to hold up specific parts while screwing them together.
One recommendation is to not tighten any bolts until all similar pieces are in place so you have slack to line up the other bolts.
